Jennifer Aniston settles with a promise

Not a big win over this celebrity lawsuit, just a promising word on the table. Jennifer Aniston sued a photographer last December when he took pictures of her while she was sunbathing topless outside her home. At first she claimed she was disgusted by the act, but now only wants him to commit to never showcasing or selling the pictures ever again.
Paparazzo Peter Brandt claims he did nothing illegal to shoot the pictures of Aniston. He also stated, "What I was trying to sell was the pictures of Vince and her...sending the topless picture along with (those) was maybe my mistake." Aniston filed the suit against Brandt when she found out the pictures were sent to a number of celebrity magazine editors. Brandt did not climb any trees or trespass along any property, which somehow makes it legal for him to take the topless photos of Aniston. He was on a nearby street when he saw her walk out topless, yet she was still in the privacy of her own property.
Although AP states Aniston's legal documents show that she was in dire "shame, mortification, hurt feelings, emotional distress and feeling of being violated and injury to her privacy and peace of mind." she seems content in knowing Brandt has given his word.
"It's a confidential settlement. The matter was amicably resolved," Aniston's attorney John Lavely stated.
