Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston's new movie, Marley and Me, comes out in two weeks, and in an interview with USA Today, the costars discussed their onscreen and off-screen chemistry. "It was an instant ease when we met and started rehearsing, and I think it's rare," Aniston said. In an interview with MTV, the actress claimed her favorite Owen Wilson movie was Bottle Rocket, saying when she saw the movie, she never imagined actually working with Wilson. "I remember thinking, 'Oh, he's one of those actors. He'll never want to work with a sitcom star,'" Aniston laughed.
Wilson also admitted he was nervous to work with someone who was so close to many of his friends, including Vince Vaughn, Aniston's ex-boyfriend, confessing: "I felt extra pressure that we got along, because I had so many friends that had worked with Jen, and everybody has said the same thing, how much they loved working with her. I didn't want to be the one guy she hates!"
Marley and Me hits theaters December 25, 2008.
