Jennifer Aniston Steps Behind the Camera

Despite being one of the queens of romantic comedy stardom, Jennifer Aniston is planning on changing things up a bit. The actress, 41, is hoping to someday soon step behind the camera and direct her first feature film, according to ABC News.
“I have a project in development I’m going to direct,” Aniston told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “After you get enough movies under your belt you sit back and go ‘What’s next?’”
The former Friends star has made more than six movies since the end of the popular NBC comedy in 2004, which is one of the big reasons for Aniston deciding to change gears.
“It’s getting to a time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction,” she said.
Despite her hopes to do so, a directed feature film would still be some years away. Aniston has acting roles in three other movies scheduled for release later this year and next year. If she does succeed in her hope and move into a director’s chair, she would follow the steps of other Hollywood actresses, including Drew Barrymore and Helen Hunt.
Aniston’s publicist said that nothing was concrete and any possible projects were still in the writing stage.
