David Arquette and Courteney Cox shocked the world after announcing their split on Monday after 11 years of marriage. A family source close to the couple tells Us Magazine that neither one of them are "holding up great, but they are adjusting to life on their own again."
The source said that Arquette is relying on his siblings and Cox has been relying on best friend Jennifer Aniston. "Courteney is leaning on Jen," a source said. It seems that Aniston will now be comforting Cox in what Us Magazine calls a "role reversal." In the past, Cox has comforted Aniston during her divorce from Brad Pitt and after the end of Aniston's other relationships, including her relationships with both John Mayer and Bradley Cooper.
Many stories have come out about the couple since news broke of their separation. Arquette called in to the Howard Stern radio show admitting that the couple did not have sex any more and that he'd had a fling with a bartender since the separation. Of the separation, he said Cox told him, "I don't want to be your mother anymore."
