Actress Jennifer Aniston may soon again be alongside best friend and fellow actress Courteney Cox, 46, on television.Aniston, 41, is “nearing a deal” to guest star on Cox’s ABC sitcom, Cougar Town, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Cougar Town is a sitcom about a recently divorced woman (Cox) who reenters the dating scene, now filled with younger men, while she lives with her 18-year-old son.
“I would love for it to happen, but there’s nothing to talk about yet,” says executive producer Bill Lawrence on Aniston guest starring on the show.
The twosome, best known for co-starring on the longtime NBC sitcom, Friends, also shared the television screen when Aniston guest starred on Cox’s FX drama, Dirt, in 2007, according to Us Magazine.
On the episode, the friends shared a goodbye kiss on the lips, since Aniston played a lesbian on the show.
The Cougar Town episode, if the deal goes through, would air early in season 2, which premieres September 22.
