Jennifer Aniston has been linked to many famous men. She was even married to arguably the most famous of them all, Brad Pitt, at one time (before Angelina Jolie...). Last night, one more name was added to that list.Jon Stewart.
During a visit to the Daily Show, the actress admitted that she and the comedian once went out on a date back in the 90s, reports Pop Eater.
The pair had dinner together in New York City, which led Stewart to believe he had scored a real date with the Friends star. But he soon realized it wasn't going well when "members of her posse" started showing up, he said.
Back in the day, Jen appeared on the network version of Jon's MTV talk show, The Jon Stewart Show, and caught his eye. The comedian asked the young actress on a date, and though she accepted, things didn't exactly go as planned.
“You were adorable [...] I asked you out, we went out! To an Italian restaurant. [...]” Stewart explained. “And it was lovely, and here is what was nice about it [...] You brought so many of your friends. I remember thinking 'Wow, she's so excited to be on a date with me that she wants me to get to know her posse.'”
For her part, Aniston said that his re-telling of the story was "really sad," but clarified that she thought the "date" was actually a group dinner, not a private dinner.
